Was looking at boats on Ebay and came across the Admiral. They do say it needs a new hull at least. Think for as much else as it needs, their price may be a bit high. Anyhow, here it is.

Admiral ad
That's interesting - she was supposed to have been sold at auction a month or so ago. I wonder if this is offered by the new owner or if she wasn't sold then. A million and a half seems steep- the MQ was sold at scrap value of $800,000 or so.

More on the ADMIRAL
ST. LOUIS • It has no engines. It likely isn't seaworthy. But one of St. Louis' most treasured riverboats could soon be yours, for the right price.
The Admiral riverboat has been set for auction, the latest indignity to befall the once-luxurious art deco cruiser. A local maritime company, which bought the riverboat just last week from casino operator Pinnacle Entertainment, will sell it to the highest bidder at 2 p.m. Nov. 10.
The boat has fallen a long way since its cruising days, and has been permanently moored on the riverfront since 1979. For about 15 years, it housed the President Casino, but has sat empty since June, when Pinnacle shut down the gaming operation.
Last week, Pinnacle sold the boat for an undisclosed price to a company called St. Louis Marine, said spokesman Mack Bradley. Auctioneer Virgil Straeter, who represents the new owners, said they hoped a buyer would keep the boat in one piece.
"But we don't know," he said. "This is open to all comers."
The auction has begun online, with the boat already advertised on several websites, including eBay and Craigslist. By Monday night, four bids had been lodged on the official auction site, Salvex, though prices were not available.
Online bidding closes at noon Nov. 10, and registered bidders will be invited to the final auction at 2 p.m. that day on the decks of the boat itself, Straeter said.
One thing is clear, the Admiral's days on the riverfront — at least its current location — are numbered.
One requirement of the auction: Down in the fine print on the auction website it says the buyer must relocate the Admiral by Dec. 15.
