Where did the AQ run aground on her maiden voyage and can anyone post photos of it aground?

She ran aground on the bar on the KY side of the river opposite Troy, Indiana. She was there 2 1/2 days. I don't have any pictures of her actually aground...the only ones I have are a day later as she came through Louisville. I went down there and shot some old fashioned VHS video...but, no photographs. The actual Maiden Voyage was 6 days later, from Pittsburgh to New Orleans. She was carrying Travel Agents on a pre-maiden voyage shake down kind of a cruise. Not too long after the actual Maiden voyage she snapped her paddlewheel shaft. There starts another round of stories about the AQ I am sure we will divert into!

Capt Davitt tells the story that in the middle of all that happening, his cell phone rang. It was his wife telling him the AQ was on CNN.

Bill Warrick, a TV reporter from an NBC affiliate in northern Indiana (and steamboat buff) has some footage of the AQ stranded on the sand bar in his video documentary "Iron Crowns & Paddle Wheels", which I released on VHS and DVD.
