Earlier this week Don Clare passed away at home in Rabbit Hash, Kentucky. Don was an inveterate steamboater, accomplished musician, raconteur, historian, and retired R.N.. He also played a starring role in the Hollywood film, "Rabbit Hash: The Center of the Universe." He leaves behind his wife Sue and two daughters Callie and Caitlyn.

Don Clare was one of a kind, there might not even be a Rabbit Hash except for his leadership. I assume the shipyard will be closed for at least two weeks.

Sad news but Rabbit Hash will carry on.
There will never be another Don but Rabbit Hash will carry on. Any word on progress made on restoring the general store?
