I will be trying to photograph the DQ from riverside locations during the "River Cruising" day, Friday, May 16. This is supposed to be the May 10 departure from Pitts, with Cinn on May 15, Henderson on May 17. Is anyone on this trip that I could call or find out details of where the DQ might be on the 16th? Even an update on departing Cinn on the 15th would be of great help.

Richard, we'll be on that trip, departing Pittsburgh on May 10th. If you'd like to email me at [email protected], I'll give you my cell phone number (sometimes I actually turn it on while on the DQ) and perhaps can be of some help when the time comes. I think Mary can clue us in for the river cruising day.

Richard, we'll do our best to keep you posted--but sometimes, cell signal in that area can be iffy. Email me via this board, and I give me your number, too--between Ginny and Ralph, and me--I think we can keep you covered! And wow- a 3 wayconversation with people I know and love but that happens a lot on this board- have a great trip Ginny!
Yes, I miss the boats and people still think I have a screw loose because I talk about the boats so much but riding a steamboat is life-changing as someone else said.

Yeah, that Steamboatin' malady can be troublesome sometime. An acquantance I met the other day said, "Saw your wife drivng the other day, when I saw the "Save The Delta Queen" bumper sticker, figured it'd be you or her, and it was! Who else out here would have that?"
Well, there's at least two cars in this town with it, and I'm working on gettin' a few more. And yes, my reputation is spreading, but who cares, as long as they write congress!!! Here sir, have a flyer. . . .

I'm green with envy! Say Hi to everyone for us. Ah, to be on the river right now watchin' the wheel and listenin' to the steam piany. . .
AAUGH, I've got to go back to work finish painting the stage, hang the skirt and clean the auditorium. Think I'll put some Joplin on the sound system to make it a LITTLE better.
Now if I'd just sent away for Travis' CDs.-- I gotta do that this week!
