I just started my afternoon stroll across the Roebling Suspension Bridge over to Cincinnati when I looked down at Covington Landing and saw the towboat ENTERPRISE sitting there all dressed up. Naturally I wondered down to see what's happening, and I was told she's being christened this evening at 6:00 PM EDST. All are welcome! Fr. Kempton Baldridge of The Seamen's Church Institute has the honors of blessing the boat.
Some might remember that it was the ENTERPRISE that towed the AMERICAN QUEEN up to Pittsburgh last July after the AQ's shaft cracked.

Also christened was C&B Marine's smaller harbor boat DISCOVERY. Both the ENTERPRISE and DISCOVERY are registered in Covington, KY.
