Greetings From New Orleans ,
Today I just got off the phone with my long time friend Fred Carmichael and he tells me that the boat is in Memphis , Tenn. today and they will be there untill tomorrow evening . He also went on to say that the Engine Room crew is in the process of taking their " Group Pictures " and the other things that people do when their future is in doubt and uncertain. Imagine , one day in the distant future a relative retrieves those same pictures and what wll be the thoughts going throuh their minds when they try to imagine what it may have been like on an ancient steamboat way back in 2008' ! Go Figure . Fred also went on to say that all the non-essential crew members , other than deck and engineering will departing the boat and as planned the DQ will be following the AQ down the river and will be used something as just a
" dinner boat " for the AQ . More to come latter !
