Does anyone know the status concerning refunds of deposits from the May 2006 Columbia Queen cruise? Were any of you booked? We can't get any info from the Federal Maritime Comm. handling the issue. We know the CQ's 1st mortgage was picked up. We submitted our dispute to Discover Card and they refuse to give us a credit because the dispute is over 180 days, (made deposit Feb.2005, but CQ cancelled cruises in 2006) and they haven't received a reply from the merchant, therefore according to law Discover can not go after them.?? I can't get any clear answers from them. $700.00 is a lot to lose. Suggestions?? Thank you.

Hello! Things are looking up regarding deposit refund for cancelled Columbia Queen cruise. Form to be completed for refund was received from the Federal Maritime Comm. Completed form and sent it back to the address given. To date we have not received a reply to our 3rd dispute letter to Discover Card. I think they have lost a customer.

Amen fellow steamboaters my Columbia Refund for the canceled cruise was received in todays mail. I sure hope others are receiving their's by now also. It has been a long process.
