DQ Engineer

Here's a neat article in the Marietta Times about Beth Jones (no relation to me), who is presently serving a short stint as Assistant Engineer on the DQ.

Though I've never met Beth, I know her parents from two separate and interesting encounters. When Beth's mom, Jane, cruised on the DQ a few years ago with her mom, we got to talking one day and realized our Maine connection. Turns out Jane's husband/Beth's dad is Dan Jones, who I remember from when he came to my son, John's high school to conduct a college information counseling session when he was with Maine Maritime Academy.

The article contains information about MMA, from where many of DQSC's great engineers, including Bob Wall, Jack DiTullio, Pete Jordan have graduated. And now, Beth Jones!
