We're celebrating 170 years at Ohio River mile marker 249.5!
Sunday, March 18, 5 p.m. - Choral Evensong with the Choristers Choir from St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Granville, Ohio with organist/choirmaster Scott Hayes.
Saturday, March 24, 2 - 5 p.m. - Prayer, History and Dreams We celebrate our past and look to our future. We will be unveiling our new mission plan that will reconnect us to the river, those who work on the river and those who live along its banks. There will be a finger food buffet as well as a short organ recital on our The Barckhoff Organ built right here in Pomeroy!
Sunday, March 25, 11 a.m. - Eucharist followed by lunch.
If you're in the area, we hope you will join us!
Sounds great Tom and I wish I could be "on deck" for these special events. I love the Episcopal liturgy and especially would enjoy hearing (and perhaps playing!) your historic Barckhoff pipe organ!
All the best to you and your parish for your good works and your plans for the future -- especially those involving the river!
Fr. Tom also has some wonderful plans for the Church when the AMERICAN QUEEN comes snooping by Pomeroy this summer. Hopefully, he'll get a positive response from Great American Steamboat Co.
