Holy Cow!! That's a lotta birthdays.and best wishes to each and everyone!
Hey Travis, are you certain you didn't have to edit because you played a wrong note???
Heh Heh Heh!!
S'
David & Linda D.
Happy Birthday to all of you!!
Carmen,
I know I´m a day late...
Travis - it is no surprise that you have perfected the steam calliope rendition of Happy Birthday. Not one wrong note (are there ever any wrong notes on a calliope?) and I could hear it loud and clear way up here on the Penobscot River!
Thanks, everyone for your wonderful birthday wishes!
Jazzou
I'd like to add my thanks to the kind birthday wishes. We, Jazzou, Pat and I started our birthday celebration at the wonderful performance of Jazzou and Bob with the Huntington Symphony on June 13th, when we three were there. I'll conclude my celebration next week with a night on the DELTA QUEEN on my way South for my son's wedding in Atlanta.
Just gotta say, Jo Ann, that it's been a great party ever since June 13th kicked the festivities into high gear. Bob and I were thrilled that so many river friends came to Huntington from as far away as Rochester and Buffalo, NY, Parma, OH, and Marco Island, FL, and of course the big gang from Cincinnati, and you from Louisville! It was so nice of Jerry Sutphin, who did such a marvelous job emceeing the show, to also recognize our Delta Queen fans that came to support us and enjoy river music accompanied by a full symphony orchestra.
Travis, since orchestras are always looking for new stuff to perform, we should take riverboat music up to the next level and compose a concerto for steam calliope and orchestra. Well, maybe that should be steam calliope versus orchestra.
Jazzou,
We'd all be dangerous together! I LIKE your idea!! Linda & I would have been there in person, if we could've.
Now let's see, you an Travis compose, get Dave M. to bring his steam piana, and. . . .

The happiest of natal days to you, deeya. And on a Thuurrrrrzday too!
And calliope and orchestra? Only if the orchestral instruments can be forced to automatically detune if the air conditioning gets too cold.
