What happened to 2008? The first decade of the 21st Century is nearly over. This time a year from now will be the first double-digit year, and before our grandkids will realize it, the 22nd Century will lay these 100 years to rest. Personally, I'm still trying to cope with the loss of the 19th-- the age I should have lived in. I just missed it by forty-two short years.
Two-thousand nine should be an interesting and decisive year. Pray that only good things happen in all our lives but whatever may come, may we take it in stride.
HAVE A HAPPY, PROSPEROUS, AND HEALTHY NEW YEAR FROM ALL THE CREW.

Happy New Year from both of us to all our friends from snowy Upstate New York.
Deb and I hope and pray that 2009 is a damn mite better than 2008 for all our friends, human and non-human...May we hope for a speedy sale of at least some of the boats both west coast and Mississippi River...And may we hope for some common sense, some intelligence in breaking the ridiculous chains that holds the Legendary One down...And may we hope for some kind of over night river travel to return to America...we're hopeful...
Happy New Year all.
