most everywhere, but in New Orleans its MARDI GRAS!!! Thinking of all my NATCHEZ friends who will be celebrating today, some on St. Charles, some on Bourbon and St. Ann, some in Metairie, and some on the West Bank. I'm making gumbo and jambalaya and bought some faux King Cakes at the grocery for our MG celebration at St. A. Nursing Home, where I've been calling bingo for 11 years. They may not be able to second line in their wheel chairs, but they do gobble the gumbo and jambalaya and wear their beads proudly!

Just turned my second line music up full blast, got 4 cats wandering and giving me dirty looks as a whistler is performing....
