When I opened the PDF it opened in side by side format. That means that it is two pages wide, and the first page appears on the right. If you are looking at it anywhere near 100% size, it will appear blank when the document opens. In side by side mode, in order to see the rest of the three pages, the document has to be scrolled down or to the right.

Bruce,

Thanks, I´ve tried to open the pdf file on two totally different computers and it didn´t work. I even tried to update my Acrobat Reader and it didn´t work. It did work on our other computer back home. No idea why it doesn´t work on my computer and my office computer.

The interesting things regarding the Queens are:

- 2 for 1 early booking bonus
- some shore tours are included (not specified)

I can't open it either, so I have no clue what the schedule is. But can you tell if they've jacked up the prices to include the shore tours?

Carmen,
In the May 22 press release you posted the link to, it says that the Heartland and Lower Mississippi trips on the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers start at $1799 and $1899 after the double occupancy discount has been applied. This is for early booking, but I don't see a cut-off date. When they put out the May 24 fare correction press release, there is no mention of the Queens. So I guess that gives us a starting. I believe that when MAL upped their prices last April they began at around $2500 per person, with no specials being offered.

The 2008 schedules for all MAL's boats are now up on their website along with 2008 rack rate pricing.

Just got back an hour ago from the May 17th DQ cruise. As always, the old gal didn't disappoint, WE HAD A BALL! Report to follow soon, lots of neat stuff has been re-appeared on the DQ, very, VERY encouraged by what has been changed and/or "returned" since our March cruise...obviously, the passenger, especially the repeating passenger, has someone listening to us...

Very, VERY cool little river that Black Warrior...
