In reading the Sunday edition of The Oregonian I was surprised to read the featured story in the business section which was titled Steering Healthy Voyages.
Unfortunately, Majestic American Lines came in on the bottom of the list with a failing mark during the February 25 inspection of the Empress of the North. For all who want to read the article, I accessed the story on Yahoo by typing in The Oregonian and then typing in Majestic America Lines in the search icon on The Oregonian website. Since MAL is now the owner of our beloved steamboats, I thought many of you would be interested in this story. Hopefully the situation described in this article has been remedied.
Smooth cruising!

Anyway, I won´t blame MAL for that. As we´ve discussed before, norovirus is very common during the winter months and not only on cruise ships. BTW on blue water ships you´re quarantined for a couple of days in your cabin and won´t get any refund at all.
