Hello,
I am new to Steamboats.org. and I love this web site!
I am trying to identify persons in photos taken at the Marietta Manufacturing Co. many years ago. Attached to this message (I hope) is a mystery photo. Please, if you think you recognize someone, let me know.

Emily: Your best chance is to contact Jack Fowler at the Pt. Pleasant River Musuem. They have an outstanding collection in regards to the Marietta Mfg. Co. His E-mail address is rivermuseum@ pointpleasantwv.org

You might also try posting the photo to the Towboating Group at:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Towboating/
Dan Owen, Barry Griffith and Jeff Yates (who frequent that message board) might have some ideas about the people in your photo.
Are you with East Carolina University? That's where the bulk of the Marietta Mfg archives were donated by Charles and Nelson Jones.

Thanks for pointing me to good sources!
I visited Pt. Pleasant a few times prior to 2001 on genealogy expeditions.
My grandfather and a few other relatives lived in Pt. Pleasant. I may still have relatives there! Will look into this. I am also searching through MMC records to see if he worked for the MMC.
