Hey everyone, I found this interesting video on youtube.

YouTube - MQ

Someone is giving a short POV tour inside of the Mississippi Queen, and at the end of the video something strange happens.

YouTube - NOLA Dance Machine

In that video "Nola Dance Machine", it is also clearly filimed inside the MQ. I guess these guys use the MQ as their hangout spot. 🙂

Here is one more video of the Delta Queen arriving in New Orleans, and in this video, the guy says he and someone else has the task of watching the Mississippi Queen while she sits at the wharf.

Just thought you might find this interesting, or has it already been posted?

Very interesting, Nick! I also clicked on "related videos" and also from JammerJaws is a vid of the DQ making her approach to land at NOLA. The narrator mentions he is watching the MQ and used to be a Junior Engineer on the DQ, so they do have some engineering crew aboard, a good sign.

JammerJawz has additional videos where he describes making knives from old steel pieces, also obviously on the Mississippi Queen. The one video shows the railing of the boat on the wharf side and it is clear the boat moves quite a bit with traffic going by.

I know who this is, and he is a fine man. I feel better, knowing that he might be a part of guarding the boat. He sincerely loves the DQ, and would love to see her saved. If he wishes his name known, he'll do it himself--but knowing he is there gives me more of a sense of peace about where the DQ is right now.

I meant no disrespect Mary. And I am somewhat relieved to hear that someone who cares is taking care of her or will be taking care of them both. Ty for that information.

Yes, he has several videos taken aboard the MQ. I am glad Mary knows he is a good person, hopefully its good news they have people who care about the boats watching them! 🙂

New video on YouTube

The original video that was posted about the inside of the MISSISSIPPI QUEEN is gone, but I have found another one. The inside of the boat is definitely torn up.
