Blog Posted 06-05-2009 at 08:20 PM by GENE SHOAP
Now on track thanks to Judy Patsch!
Weighing In:
My first time on board...just signed on. Hope someone can help.
I have a dear friend, soon to reach his 90th birthday. A few months back he was robbed of his cash and a valued "Mississippi Queen Money Clip". As a special gift for his 90TH birthday I would like to replace his money clip. Can anyone point me to a source for same. Much obliged.

Mr. Shoap: Try searching EBAY with MISSISSIPPI QUEEN as your search word. Many souvenir items from the boat are often posted for auction. Good luck!

No luck on Ebay Keith...Thank you just the same. Perhaps an Antique or Collectibles shop near a Steamboat port or other collectibles web sites. Any suggestions are appreciated. God Bless !

Don't give up! New listings are being added constantly. There is a steamboat money clip on auction right now, but it is a sidewheeler and not the MQ. Depending upon how the seller lists an item, you might find it under STEAMBOAT, STEAM BOAT, RIVERBOAT, RIVER BOAT, MISSISSIPPI RIVER, etc.
Good luck!
