Unlimited Cruises is now selling Majestic America Line cruises as exclusive agency in Germany. Unlimited Cruises did already sell Winstar cruises in Germany.

Carmen & steamboating colleagues:
Thanks for the interesting post RE: 'Unlimited Cruises' now parterning/selling MAJESTIC AMERICA LINE in Germany. Appears that 'what goes around comes around.' A number on this web well recall the days when Betty Blake engineered quite a marketing link with Germany on the DQ when based here and later in New Orleans. Learining of the strong interest in Europe for the literature and color of our rivers, deep south and far west, Betty found a strong 'niche' market. The company she worked with most was, naturally, LUFTHANSA. Others I recall were: BOAC out of the U.K.; AIR FRANCE, SABENA, PAN AM. In the days before computers and the Internet Cincinnati's upsacle 4th St. was lined with a number of offices for these carriers. Most now have closed and consolidated with district offices in Chicago, Atlanta, New York etc.
The 'new kids on the block' for upscale travel emerging now are the Chinese and the new Russian entrepreneurs following the fall of Soviet Russia. They're showing us all thing or two.
Cheers,
