I just received a beautiful new calendar for 2007. It's entitled STEAMBOATS, is 11" x 14" in size and the cover has a striking photo of the Str. NATCHEZ underway. All photos are in vivid color and feature existing boats. There are dandies of the BELLE OF LOUISVILLE, DELTA QUEEN, BECKY THATCHER (ex-str. Mississippi) COLONEL, BELLE OF CINCINNATI, CHATTANOOGA STAR, etc. Many of the boats featured are diesel excursion boats, but the calendar is excellent and perhaps they will continue to do these (featuring boats like the JULIA BELLE SWAIN and other STEAMboats) if there's enough interest. I was surprised to learn that there's an excursion boat at Stillwater, Minnesota named AVALON! Anyway, you can order this calendar for $13.95 plus shipping from the publisher at Tide-Mark Press, P.O. Box 20, Windsor, CT 06095-0020. Online ordering is available at www.tidemarkpress.com and they have many other interesting items in their catalog! Every steamboat buff and buffette will enjoy having one of these calendars!

Thanks, Keith for the informationl We may add this calendar to our collection of calendars we already had. Some of these were acquired on our travels earlier this year, like one from Greece! Margaret Swan
