May be. But I know I for one would not relish the thought of going the rest of my life without any more fried chicken. Or bacon.

Don't think you have anything to worry about, o he who unhinges his lower jaw. For some time I have had concerns about growing a stern big enough for 3 balanced rudders and have cut back on grease, etc., but there are plenty of people, and always will be, who are not worried about such things at all, thus keeping the related industries alive and well in spite of all the efforts of Michelle Obama and others. But it would be nice if we could recycle all that oil that doesn't end up in carotid arteries. By the way, how have you managed to keep from getting a steamboat figure eating all that towboat food?

Good genes, I guess. I will say I don't eat NEARLY like I used to, but do eat what I want, when I want. Just blessed, I guess.

I believe the Minnehaha in Wayzata, Minnesota is CNG fueled, and has been since its restoration twenty years ago.

There are some concerns about gas fumes accumulating in the bilges and going kaboom some fine day. Proper ventilation would be extremely important. Given all the options, CNG, et.al. would be at the bottom of my fuel list, or maybe not on the list at all.
