Hey everyone.
Here are a bunch of Current photos from inside the MQ. There are well over 100 of them. This will give everyone a good idea of whats going on with her, and what her current condition is.
Im not going to say, who, how, or where I got them. Im sure you can all understand.
Take a look if you want. But its a little sad to see. But then again, think of the look she will have when completed.

Thanks Donald for those photos. My impression is WOW! I knew the boat best when it was brand new in 1976 through 1984. Of course there were many changes since that time but even in the demolition there are many familiar ghosts. I guess the positive side of these photos is that it should be like a brand new boat when they are finished. Just like house remodeling. It is a grand mess before everything is bright and beautiful again.

Hey Ted.
I worked on the MQ in the pursers office, and also in the store room in 2000-2001 . It was in bad shape then. She is going to look amazing when she is completed. I am sure of that.

THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE PHOTOS. You are right, they are a little sad but I'm just happy to see they are working on her. I know she is not the most beloved boat to many but she is nearest and dearest to my heart. Thanks again. judy nichols

Great pictures. Does the exterior look the same? Is the trailer park on the top deck coming of as well? Will there be another pool?

Are the top deck, aka trailer rooms coming off as well? Is there going to be a new pool?
Anxious to see new stacks. What does the exterior look like at this time, still same?

I was told all the rooms on prom deck are staying, and there will be a new pool.
If you look at the photos anything with red spray paint is either removed or is being removed.

Glad someone took these photos. When I was Photographer on the MQ it never occurred to me to take mundane photos of how everything looked. I regret it to this day. I really believe that the only way to remodel is to gut the whole thing and start over. I can't wait to see how she looks. Thanks a lot.
