Kadie Engstrom has asked me to convey that the SPIRIT of JEFFERSON will be offering a LOCK CRUISE on Sunday, December 11th. Boarding at 12:30, cruising from 1-4 PM, although the return to the landing could be later depending upon lock traffic.
Tickets are $40 per person (with buffet lunch) and $25 for outside deck seating, per availability. Call the BELLE office at 502.574.2992 or toll free at 866.832.0011 for reservations. Thanks for the posting! I would love to go...except I won't be here to ride then. For those who do go, it will be a wonderful time, very educational, and lots of fun! I will pass the word on myself to see if some of my brood is interested in going.

HSM Holiday Open House Day
Don't forget that the Howard Steamboat Museum's Holiday Open House is also on Sunday, December 11th from 1:00 until 4:00 PM.
Depending upon the weather and energy levels of the participants, sometimes a group gathers for dinner at a waterfront restaurant.
