Greetings From New Orleans ,
Well , things are slowly but surely gearing up for the 2012' , Str. American Queen schedule with the hiring of three " Riverlorians " to serve , inform and to entertain the future passengers for the Str. American Queen !
I have it on good authority that this has happened and I have been personally asked to NOT mention the names of the three individuals that will serve in this prestigious positions .
It is also my understanding that the three will work a one month ON and a two month OFF work schedule .
I am sure that all three will do a " Stelar Performance " and I look forward to personally being entertained and informed when I make my first trip on this famous river steamer !

NEED WORK
Oh, darn! That sounds like a wonderful work schedule. (But then, what will they do in their spare time?) Have you heard anything about who might be in the navigation department, pilots and such? Why is everybody being so secretive? This is not a covert operation, by golly, and if I had just been hired to merely sweep floors in a convenience store, I, and a lot of other folks in this country, would be shouting it from the roof tops.

Good Question , Lexie and all that I can tell you is that in the Navigation Department , Capt. John Sutton is the Str. American Queen's , Master and Port Captain and it will be his responsibility to manage the AQ's Deck and Navigation crew .
Other than that , I am not sure whom he has contracted to fill the Wheel House and Deck Dept. with but with his connections in the marine industry , I am sure they will ALL be top notch individuals with a stellar record !
Time will tell !
