To find the info on the trips enroute to TS, click on the Special Events at the top. As you look at the info on those trips, there are pix of the Belle on the right hand border... the aerial one used several times is one I took from the Carrollton bridge on Sept. 30, 1984, as they proceeded up the Kentucky River on the Sunday afternoon public excursion. This was back in the days when they had that yearly charter in Madison and they took people up to Madison on Saturday and returned on Sunday evening. We stayed at the President Madison Hotel on the riverfront and had many a good time on its porch with river friends(a guest appearance by "Fred Way" even) as we watched the Belle glide by on her Saturday evening charter. That picture was included in the book which Capt. Kevin Mullen and Anne Jewell compiled, a beautiful photo-laden coffee table book: "Legendary Lady" 1999. If it is still available, its a real gem to have...
The book is still available, aboard the BELLE, in the wharfboat gift shop and at other places such as the Howard Steamboat Museum shop, etc. The publication is a veritable treasure trove of photographs and historical information on Louisville's beautiful and revered steamboat.
