Recently I've had some questions about technical issues regarding the message board, so I'd like to explain a few things:
-- if your pictures do not upload and you end up in weird error messages: chances are that your picture is too big. As stated in the upload window, the image files must not be bigger than 550 by 550 pixel. Try scaling down your pictures before uploang them and it should work smoothly.
-- if you can't see all postings in a thread but just one: you're not logged in. Only logged-in users do see all postings of a thread in one page. If you're not logged in, you only see the one active posting and you have to click on each single headling in the window at the top of the page to see these postings. Alternatively, you can switch to "linear mode" (see "Display Modes" in the upper right corner when being on the thread's page), disadvantage of this is that in the linear mode you don't see the thread hierarchy but a chronological listing of the postings.

okay, some of brought to my attention, that the thread issue even shows up when you're logged in. I'll try to dig into this, but it'll probably take a while until I find a solution for this. I have a clue where to look for, but it's really weird.
Please let me know when you see new threads where this issue re-appears.

Will someone be updating the information on the boats on the main steamboat page? I keep looking and still see information from 2 years ago.
