Hi folks,
Just a quick note about a new video featuring our band, The 1937 Flood, which has performed often for steamboaters, especially on the Delta Queen over the past decade or so. Earlier this week, the Flood was on hand at the Huntington, WV, riverfront to greet passengers preparing to board the visiting Belle of Cincinnati. We recorded one of the tunes, "Jug Band Music ("Certainly Was a Treat for Me!)" for YouTube, and I thought you might enjoy it. Here's a link:

If you like it, feel free to share the link with your friends.
cheers, Charlie

WOW!! I met you, Mr. Bowen last summer on the DELTA QUEEN. I had no idea you had a band. What a talented person you are. Hope to see you on the boat again someday!

Charlie, great stuff! Thanks, and I will pass it on.
Deb and I were so glad to meet you this summer. You told me that you were in a band, but somehow it never registered in my fog brain that your band was The 1937 Flood...very cool toe-tapping tune...
