My name is Daniel G. Hood thank you for telling me the Mississippi Queen was put in dry dock in April I have booked the Steamboat race cruise back in april od last year and if it hadnt been for your site i would not have found that out. Do you know that the past passangers list has disappeared for the Delta Queen steamship company records as per my travel agent at AAA Travel. I didnt find out what happened till this last weekend. If I were to cancel my passage i would lose all my money that i payed . I feel sorry for those passangers that are going thinking that the race is still on and wont know till they get there. I would have been one of those if not for this group right here. They have not told anyone what was happening not even the travel agents themselves. What a way to run a company !!!!!!

I received a call for my Sept MQ trip, telling me it was canceled, a month or more ago. They even helped me make other plans, refunded the difference in the cost of the 2 trips as I chose to take another trip on the DQ, and sent me a money off coupons for a trip I might book and take in the next year. I was very pleased with this. I was most pleasently suprised and pleased with the treatment I received. The MQ trip was made thru the Delta Queen Steamboat Co. almost a year ago.
