Virginia has been in St Elizabeth Healthcare Ft. Thomas, Ky since the 13th of October with a blockage in her bowel. If they can open it by vacuuming with a tube in her nose she will be in the hospital a minimum of four days.

On a related note, we got a very nice card from Ruthie Guenther and she is slowly recovering, and laments "a perfectly good summer wasted!" Ruth misses her steamboat friends and is anxious to get back in the swing.

Virginia had surgery today to repair her small intestine.Viginia is resting comfortably.She wil be in the hospital for about a week.Virginia's address is St.Elizabeth Health Care Rm4602 ,85 North Grand Avenue, Ft Thomas,Kentucky 41075
