I saw the pictures of her being towed to LA. What is with the blue color, is that some rust preventer? She looks pretty gray to me, it must be a covering of mold or mildew. A power wash and fresh paint to take care of that. I hope that blue around the pitman arms is not on purpose. If it is, it is another example of the minds of old ownership.

Mark, she wore that blue paint during the last year or so of operation. Yes, it was a decision of the old owners, one which has been commented on extensively on this board. Read in another forum about the recent decision to do away with that blue paint.

Two years prior to layup, MAL painted the main deck navy blue. We criticized it greatly on here - so the next year they added the navy blue to the second deck too. Kind of told us, didn't they? Oh well, we're still here, where's MAL???
