I'm happy to announce that there is now an index for the classic J. Mack Gamble's book "Steamboats on the Muskingum".
Steamboats.org member Tom Jansing has done a great job by compiling the index and is generous enough to make it available for you all to download, enjoy and use.

Gamble Index
Thank you Franz for putting this index on Steamboats.org. I hope river buffs and researchers find it useful. It's really frustrating to know a bit of information you want is in "this" book, but you can't find it because there's no index. As I mentioned to you, I'm working on another index, this one for Fred Way's She Takes the Horns. I'll send it to you once it's finished. I hope we can do this for dozens of unindexed river books.
