Hey all,
Thought you all might like to peruse this article from the Louisville Courier Journal about a special award for the BELLE OF LOUISVILLE.
It is very nice to see our remaining steamboats getting this kind of attention. We really need to work to make sure this kind of thing continues to happen so we can keep steamboats in the attention of the media.
Even the local news carried a story on it this morning!

Too bad we couldn't get Mr. Yarmuth onboard to help us support the DELTA QUEEN on the occasion of our first go around to save her. In a way, I am glad I won't be there...I'd be too tempted to grill him myself! Unfortunatly, with out the DELTA QUEEN, I am still on unemployment and can't afford a ticket...coincedence?
