I have a fairly complete collection of Steamboat Bill journals from 1977 to the present. My wife and I are in the process of downsizing and so it is time to pass these copies along. The SSHSA does not need the copies to expand its collection - they already have plenty to sell, and there is no local library interest. So I am happy to pass the set along to a good home via dot org. Serious inquiries and referrals are welcome by PM or e-mail.

Hi Wesley,

No, I can't help but I am sure you could answer a question for me. On Sunday, I was watching the silent film Steamboat Bill with Buster Keaton. Besides the boat labeled Stonewall Jackson, what other boats were used in filming that movie? It was from Comcast's On Demand section and I was sitting with a 92 year old Alzheimer's patient who thoroughly enjoyed the movie for reason different from me. I would just like to go back and tell her a bit more historical info even though she won't retain any of the info.

Thanks.

To others - I haven't been on for months for many reason but especially because I have been so heartbroken over what has happened despite all our efforts. I know it is burying my head in the sand. But someone brings up the boats and I usually start crying.
