Some of you met Ernst during Tall Stacks. He was on the DQ after Tall Stacks and has a wonderful website with cruise ship videos including some of the DQ

Carmen, Ernst's website is very good. I like the videos. But, he must have copied an incorrect fact off the MAL website, because he said that the DQ is the "world's only paddle steamer undertaking overnight voyages." Unless I am confused, I think there are three of these boats just in the US alone.
Sorry for the stupid mistake - I meant to type oldest.
Good to hear that you like my webpage.
More steamboat clips will be added later.
Ernst, thanks for the prompt reply and in making the change to your site. And, yes, I do like your site very much. The video files are excellent. I look forward to viewing the upcoming additions to the steamboat category.
Wonderful videos! At 19k dial up, even the smalls take hours. So I left the computer on overnight--who wants to get a phone in the middle of the night anyways?? :). The next morning, Linda asks me, "Why did I hear a calliope at 3AM??" Ah ha, automatic open after downloading, and I slept right through it.
Had a friend in town download the rest so I can visit the Queen anytime! Oh boy oh boy!!! THANK YOU ERNST!!
