Had an email from Capt. Don of the NATCHEZ this a.m. He said business is finally picking up. They've carried over 200 nightly for dinner(the most expensive trip), and had 253 on Sunday's afternoon cruise. To put this into perspective, before Katrina she was carrying 300-800 21 cruises a week. Now she is back up to 15 cruises, with a good crowd being 200. But at least this will keep her afloat. Please remember her if you go to NOLA, and especially if you go to NOLA to board a boutique ship, be aware that the NATCHEZ is family-owned by people who cherish and recognize the uniqueness of a steamboat!

And is the food GOOOOD!! Wowziers!!
And for the mechanical folks, what neat engines!! Haven't downloaded that chip yet, you'll have to wait for pics.
