Just a note that our annual Christmas Open House at the Howard Steamboat Museum will be held on Sunday, December 10th from 1:00 until 4:00 PM. Santa and Mrs. Claus will visit from 1:00-3:00. The Big Muddy String Band will provide entertainment in the music room and refreshments will be served. Admission is FREE. The gift shop is well stocked with lots of river books and other steamboaty stocking stuffers! As usual, I'll be "on deck" in the steamboat exhibits upstairs, so come on by for some holiday cheer!
