I was in LaCrosse two weeks ago and had a chance to take a couple of pics of the Julia Belle Swain. In discussions with a source close to the situation, the Swain's boiler operator walked off the job two years ago, and that's one of the reasons that she's parked. They are still looking for a replacement, which is why she's not for sale. There doesn't appear to be any movement towards scrapping her - at least not yet.
