A Kaye Bell ca. 1891 is for sale on eBay. I found this information buried in a long thread about Kentucky Railway Museum over on RyPN.org. I have no financial interest in the sale. Might make a nice Christmas gift for that hard to please buff or buffette on your list.

REDUCED !!! Steam Boat Paddle Wheeler "1891 Kaye Bell" Indiana, Louisville KY | eBay
Railroad OR Riverboat ???
I can't say for sure, but from the stand holding this bell, I'd vote for it being a railroad bell from a locomotive. It's too small to be a roof bell but might have served as an an engine room bell. Before buying it, I'd insist on proof of provenance!
We have two KAYE (I was told by Capt. C.W. Stoll that this was pronounced COY) bells at the museum; one from the Howard Shipyard and the other from the ferry FROMAN M. COOTS.
Hi All
I had a look in my bell file found a couple of references, "William Kaye, Louisville, KY" appears cast into a bell that is now (WJ Mar 18, 1991) on the Snow Wilson which belonged to Jeffrey Sand Company, North Little Rock, Ark. 2nd The bell from the Betsy Ann in the court yard behind Stanton Hall, Natchez bears the markings "1890 Kaye & Co. Louisville, KY"
