Big news for steamboat buffs wishing to access photos: The Murphy Library collection of 45,000+ photos is being digitalized and all known info about the boat/pix will be listed too. They have just started the project but hope to have it done in a year. To see what it is like : University of Wisconsin Digital Collections

Wonderful collection! Very interesting series on ADMIRAL and a number of Red River boats that I hadn't seen photos of before. I can hardly wait for the rest of the collection to appear!
