After a nearly 3 week layup, the steamer NATCHEZ started up the 2010 season this afternoon, so we now have a steamboat up and running again. She runs a 2:30 daily, with dinner trips on weekends and evenings when groups have made reservations. If business warrants it, an 11:30 is added. Mardi Gras is Feb. 16, so hopefully tourists will be coming into town shortly to pump up her schedule. Hard to believe the NATCHEZ is 35 this year.
