I have been wondering about this for a while, but do you know the official port for the Queen of the Mississippi? (Like the AQ has Memphis, and DQ had Cincinnati) Or does the QoM just sorta bounce around?

Marcus, no boat "bounces around" as far as her home port is concerned. A vessel's registered home port is simply where she has been registered. Yes, for years the DQ was registered in Cincinnati, but in later years (1980 or so?) her port of registry was changed to New Orleans. A lot of it has to do with taxes, specifically corporate taxes. Many boats are registered in Wilmington, Delaware; even many inland boats are registered there, as Delaware has favorable corporate tax laws. Of course, those boats have never been to Wilmington and likely never will go. It is sort of the same deal as foreign "flags of convenience".
I'm not sure what the QUEEN OF THE MISSISSIPPI's home port of registry is.
