..instead of live from the levee! Who would have envisioned being able to post worldwide from a steamboat? This is my view from the NATCHEZ roof behind the pilothouse. It's a cool cloudy day but the ph is blocking the breeze. This is only my second trip since I arrived Saturday pm. I was at the Superdome Sunday watching a former Oregon player, Marcus Mariota, defeat the Saints. I hadn't been in the dome since Katrina, and even though I was the enemy this game, it was great to see how the loyal Saints fans support their team. My view was partially blocked by 3 popes, Jean Lafitte, Whistle Monster, and
D Sean Payton...I wonder how long it takes a fan to get dressed in game gear?

Makes my nervous. Looks so easy to fall overboard and into the drink! 🙂

Not a chance
You can't fall into the drink. The Hurricane Deck is right below and extends some 12 ft out from the roof. It would be a good fall, but you'd be on dry surface. I sit in the middle because I often doze off in the warm sunshine, and if I'd fall out of my chair, I'd at least stay on the roof!
