Herewith is a mini blog of images from recent happenings at the Howard Steamboat Museum. It is a very exciting time in the 53 year life of the museum! And it really makes me feel OLD to think that I've been involved with the HSM for 43 of those years!
Images:
(1) Collections Management Facility Construction - March, 2011
(2) Collections Facility seen through the 9 foot pilotwheel of the steam towboat NORTHERN on back porch of HSM mansion. March, 2011
(3) The Collections Management Facility on April 14th!

More HSM Happenings!
(1) Dining Room Table set for Ohio River Scenic Byway Group Dinner on March 30th.
(2) Historic Lighting specialists carefully remove 235 pound plus Library Chandelier (purchased at 1893 World's Fair) for restoration as Administrator Yvonne "freaks out"!
(3) New geothermal HVAC ductwork (to be enclosed later) in an exhibit room.

Keith, these images of the collections facility are so exciting! Can't wait to see the finished structure.
