The October issue of ROUNDABOUT newspaper is so full of "steamboat stuff" that one can practically wring river water out of it! It contains a complete rundown of all the upcoming events for the Belle's Centennial Celebration as well as Jeffersonville's "Steamboat Days" Festival.
Access the publication at RoundAbout Entertainment Guide.
Also, the October 3 edition of NEWS and TRIBUNE (daily local newspaper) contains a 32 page pull-out section on "Steamboat Days" and the Centennial Celebration that is brimming with riverboat pictures and articles, including a very nice one on the Howard Steamboat Museum.
Access the daily newspaper at News and Tribune: Community Focused. Community Minded..
THANKS to ALL for the excellent coverage and publicity!

Thanks for the heads-up on the RoundAbout articles. I'll have to pickup a copy when I'm in Madison. In a former career, Barbara was the copy editor for that newspaper.
