Hello,
We are producing a new TV series for National Geographic entitled America's Lost Treasures. I like to describe our show as the lovechild of Antiques Roadshow & History Detectives. What sets our show apart from similar shows like this out there, is that we are looking for interesting objects that can tell the history of a particular region of the United States through the owners personal connection to their object. We are hosting an event at the Cabildo Tuesday, November 29th and we would love to feature a steamboat object that has some kind of historical or cultural significance to the Mississippi River. If you or someone you know might have such an object please email me or objects can be submitted via our website America's Lost Treasures

Thank You for taking the time to read this!

Just a note from me as admin:

I´m sorry that some posts are posted by the name of "Tom Adams". We don´t have a clue why this is happening. There is a user with this name but anyway it happens that other users are logging in with their names but the post is saying "Tom Adams". So far we weren´t able to find out the reason for this.

I have to apologize for this bug. Maybe you sign your posts with your name (as Dave Freeman is doing) in case your screenname is showing up as "Tom Adams" to avoid any confusions.
