The Sons and Daughters of Pioneer Rivermen's annual meeting is just a few days away! We will be gathering in Marietta, OH as always at the historic Lafayette Hotel as well as the Ohio River Museum to hammer out the business of the org and enjoy the weekend's events. All are invited to attend!
On Friday evening the Ohio River Museum plays host to our meet and greet event at 8p.m. A ribbon cutting will take place to open the museum's newest exhibit, which pays tribute to the W.P. Snyder through the Capt. Charles Ritts collection. Refreshments and a cash bar will be available. It is sure to please and we hope you will join us for an exciting evening!
Saturday morning's business meeting will take place in the Lafayette Hotel's Sternwheel Room at 9:30 a.m. A luncheon will follow at noon and will feature a presentation by Capt. Bill Barr entitled, "Big Things that Move by Water."
Wrapping up the weekend events will be a dinner banquet with guest speaker Capt. Kevin Mullen.
