As I'm sure most of you have read or heard, GASC expects to announce within the next 90 days that it is either "acquiring or building" a vessel. I have talked privately with a few people through email and the reactions vary. What do you all think - what boat could it be? Perhaps a west coast riverboat? Maybe a smaller boat that would run on the Mississippi and Ohio with the AQ to compete with ACL's new Queen of the Mississippi? Very interested and intrigued by all of this news...

Hey Taylor,
Rumor mill going rampant right about now via the stern-line telegraph. Only thing I will say is that build or acquire with a name like Great American Steamboat Company, the propulsion should be self explanatory. Is Captain Walnut selling his steam launch collection? ;o) Going to be a long 90 day wait!

Is the Columbia Queen still for sale and that's in the west coast also just like the Queen of the West.
