I originally posted this in the JBS thread but also feel that it needs it's own.
The Mississippi Belle II has been sold to a Philadelphia group that is getting back into the excursion business and plan on investing $2 million into her refurbishment. Story is here Mississippi Belle II leaves Sunday : Quad-City Times: Quad Cities, IA/IL

I believe this is an old news story, the boat went to Philly and flopped. The article is dated 2010. Judy would probably know better but I think it has returned to the rivers and is laid up?

Yes, that story was in the Times in 2010. She is currently at the Schadlers' dock in Moline, just saw her last week. I haven't gone up close to see if there is any action on her, but I would think there wouldn't be any renovation needed considering all that was done for the Philly people.

Must have been tired
I'm sorry about that. I usually don't post outdated articles. I was probably tired when I posted this and the date numbers jumbled together. Thanks for the catch.
