A reporter for the Minneapolis Star Tribune is cruising on the American Queen this week. Her blog is at:

Finally we get a reporter who really enjoys steamboat cruising. Reading Kerri Westenberg's blog from departure to present you get the feeling she wants to enjoy just the river, forget all the side trip shows. She has settled in on that front porch. Our poster Judy would probably get along just fine with her.
You got that right!
Yes, if I were on that trip with her, I'd bet we'd be sharing time out on deck watching the scenery, talking to the people at the locks, etc. The AQ was in Davenport yesterday but after I watched her 4AM arrival, I had to spend the day down at church, so I didn't get to hang around and run errands or see the departure. I am wondering now, though - there was, to my surprise, a female passenger on deck watching the landing. I wonder now if it could have been this writer?
