http://www.tallstacks.com/Riverboats_Blog.html This is on the Tall Stacks website, but its a daily report by Capt. Ben Bernstein who is bringing the COLONEL up from Galveston. They are enroute already. (The NATCHEZ will be leaving NOLA this Sunday.)

Thanks for the tip. Cap'n Al's a pretty fair writer as well as a fine boatman. Reading his blog is just like having him talking to you. I could hear his voice as I read.

Sam: You sprayed that paint too long at the yard. Capt. Al's a lousy writer but his son Ben, whose on the Colonel, is a fine writer

A slight oversight on my part. Was it really the paint fumes, you reckon? Pardon me Captain Ben, but what I said about your Pa goes double for you... a very well written story, although I heard your dad's voice when I read it.
