Ambassadors International announced on Monday, October 16 that they have acquired the COLUMBIA QUEEN under terms which were, "quite attractive." Several months ago they purchased the mortgage of the vessel, so, it sounds to me as if, the COLUMBIA QUEEN's past owners must have defaulted on the loan. Ambassadors International announced that they will bring the boat out for the summer 2007 season.
Ambassadors International common stock traded on the NASDAQ exchange closed at $36.60 a share Monday.
Hi Frank,
I was sure when AI aquired the mortgage that this was only a matter of time. Would be great to see the CQ back on the Columbia river. She´s a nice boat and the crew was so enthusiastic bringing the boat back last year.
